One of the charges of TIEM’s National Center Initiatives (2005-2010) was to help provide Interpreters and Interpreter Educators with a centralized source of information that will help better the field of Interpreting by improving the availability of high quality materials.

This information included searchable documents, online private portfolio management, a searchable database of Interpreter Education Programs nationwide, and a private database of information that was used to produce informational materials for the public. This information and service were free to the public.

This project has become the National Consortium Resource Center (2005-2010) and can be found at There you will find extensive resources, including a comprehensive list of Interpreter Education Programs.
